Velvet Hex enters with the confidence of someone who has already read the verdict.

The judges are three blindfolded figures:

- The Judge of Things You Should Have Known
- The Judge of Things You Pretended Not to Know
- The Judge of Things You Absolutely Knew But Ignored Anyway

They speak in unison.

“Velvet Hex, you stand accused of seeing too clearly.”

She bows.
“Guilty.”

A murmur ripples through the gallery — souls who spent lifetimes avoiding their own truths.

The Judges slam their gavels.
Each strike echoes like a cosmic rimshot.

“Your sentence,” they declare, “is to reveal irony wherever it hides.”

Velvet smiles.
“Oh darlings… that’s not a punishment. That’s a hobby.”

She snaps her fingers.
The Court dissolves into a spotlight.
The Judges vanish, leaving behind a single scroll labeled:
