I have learned and known that in this life, that when you move with all confidence and vigour in the path of your dreams, and you try as much as possible to live a life in the direction of what you have dreamt of, you will meet success on your way.

Rise, Phoenix, Rise

For the martyrs that they've made of us
Whose sacred bones lay beneath the dust
Of the land that they lost
By their treaties and by pact

Our spirit grows and will survive
And so long as there's one Red man alive
We will continue to fight
To get our country back

Oh, Indian peoples, young and old
Remember that our shamans have foretold
We will rise to the skies like the Phoenix

Oh ancestors we are stubborn and we're proud
For all of us we speak our minds out loud

For we're united
As we've never been before
From deep within our souls the fires burn
And the time has come for us to take our turn
To take back the land
For it's People once more

From the forests, from the plains
From the mountains, once again
We will rise to the skies like the Phoenix

From the Caribbean to Wounded Knee
In just four centuries of history
The Europeans
Have managed to steal our land

With their constant greed throughout the years
They drove us along our trails of tears
To eliminate
Every red man and woman

Oh! Indian Peoples young and old
Remember that our shamans have foretold
We will rise from the ashes like the Phoenix

We will take up where Chief Joseph quit
To prove that was not the end of it
We will forge
Our own treaties, our own pacts

Like Tecumseh and Geronimo
We must stand strong to let them know
That we intend to do
What's just to get it back
