Outside a blustery chill

A tiny boy of six years old

Came crashing down the hill

The leaves did scatter , brown and orang

How fearsome was the sight

Of Franklin Tom , the Turkey Beast

Screeching through the night.

The grownup gathered so cozy

Drinking and baking the pies

Finally off work ,,,,,,if they have to at all

The Pilgrims were filling with wine

Children ran wild into the night…

Thanksgiving Eve had a come again

Outside a blustery chill

We pass by and forget it

My prayer for everyone through the holidays is this

May you have compassion Mary had , and the

Understanding Joseph had , and the blessings

Of the Christ Child be yours . Not because of his

Birth long ago,but because his love is born in you

Today . As I give thanks for the greatest gifts, Christ

Love born in me . I experience. A renewed awareness

Of compassion , understanding , and oneness . I rekindle

My dedication to being to being a…
