Ron+Chris: My Wife and I in 1999

Chris and Ron Price in a photo taken in 1999 on the eve of Ron’s retirement from FT teaching after thirty-two years in classrooms as a teacher and another 18 as a student. Half a century in classrooms was enough and it was time for him to do something else in his life.

It would be a life with much more time spent with his wife; hence the relevance of this photo in 1999. In reality, though, it was much more time spent writing and editing, poetizing and publishing, researching and engagingh in online blogging.

These activities in my retirement were not anticipated at the time: on the internet, on the world wide web with a tool which was just emerging on the global scene, an immensely useful tool for my writing and for the many causes to which I had become identified both before retirement and after.
