Each theme will be in its own discussion... Every one that decides to use one of these themes ,
Please remember to leave the simple THANK YOU So the Creator of the Theme will know you are Grateful for all their hard work for all to Enjoy... To use my themes - (You can Download the rtf file and Images I give here to your own computer. Adding these Themes on a Ning Page are a simple copy the code on the rtf file and paste it to your Advanced editor action.) Click on My Page under your profile picture - Then Click Appearance - I often use the Veejay theme to alter into my own styles, so you can Click on and Save that for assurance in altering if you like (it's not a necessity) - There under the Basic Tab, some of your font color choices are your own - my screen shots are an example. At the top part of the Basic Theme tab is Color - Under the top color part, I suggest using transparent where possible - (which really is not necessary but just a little assurance) There is a color box named Module - That is the color for the google adds box - you may choose the color in that box to match up with your theme - I usually manually customize it to be exact. Most of the time the Track Color in my Scroll Bar is also exact for the background so if your are unsure you can use that reference. Next, to give more assurance - I suggest you Click the All Options tab and set all the upload Image boxes to None, (remember to click Save at the bottom after each action you take to add a new theme.) The Side Image Box, Body Image Box, Header Image Box and Network Logo Image Box under the All Options Tab should all show as None there Click Save. Now you may Click on the Advanced Tab - delete what is there and add - copy and paste what I gave you for the theme in the rtf file - *Click Save* and you will have a new theme. Note: Occasionally I will include graphics that you can use manually along with the images for the theme I am hosting for you - most of the time that will be the customized profile pic that you can upload with the theme - It may also include a heading - a master head or h1 or h2 image that you can/may delete off the code and then add to another spot if you like. Those may be welcome images or other images that are only optional.

many of my center backgrounds are transparent which is written into the code

Please make sure that the site images or other standard Ning layout images are removed before placing my code in your advanced editor

the Standard site images can usually be found in your My Page Appearance section under the All Options tab - the top section is named color - Please set all the image boxes there to "NONE" if they are not already set to that and click save - then you should not have any interference with my layouts.

If this is a continued problem - in the future I can force a transparent or appropriate background tile in the middle of the layouts but for now I did not use one where it is not needed.
