The Earth also began to heal and when in danger ended and people found themselves they grieved for the dead and made new choices and dreamed of new visions and created new ways of living and completely healed the Earth just as they were healed.... Your pet’s health reflects your own health! That’s according to veterinary medicine experts at the University of Georgia. Just like a husband and wife develop similar health issues - or are both in good health - the same thing goes for our pets. That’s because pets and owners share the same environment and spend so much time together. For example, in studies of pet-human pairs, overweight dogs are more likely to have overweight owners. But it goes beyond weight issues. Pets and their owners can have the same allergies! According to a recent study, pets and their humans can develop the same allergies from living in cities and being disconnected from nature. Your dog may get a type of dermatitis - while you may sneeze and have watery eyes - but the allergy source is the same. And the opposite is true……Pets living with their humans in the countryside - or pets and humans who regularly are out in nature - tend to have fewer allergies. That’s why Kate Hodgson, a veterinarian at the University of Toronto’s medical school, says primary care physicians should ask about family pets during exams.
