Promise Day

This day is important because you make momentous promises to your loved ones for an enduring relationship. A promise to stay by their side eternally.  This is the fifth day of Valentine's Day. This is the most significant day of Valentine’s week for lovers. On this day, people make commitments or vows to their loved ones for a long-lasting relationship. And if two people have a strong affirmation towards each other, they will cross every impediment no matter what.

February marked my twenty-sixth anniversary. My husband and I are young at heart (though my hearing isn’t what it used to be). On the morning we celebrated, I left the supermarket and spotted a penny on the pavement. I loved finding change that had been left behind. The only other person nearby was an employee, pushing a rackety row of carts through the parking lot.

I bent to grab it. The ping of another coin hitting the pavement rang in my ears. I couldn’t have heard that amid the clamor of the shopping carts, I thought. Yet there it was, a few feet away. This time, a quarter, seemingly fallen from the sky. I went home with 26 pennies from heaven, one for each year spent with my valentine.

Give Blessings

We are all blessed with life and all the opportunities it brings, though most of us forget to notice. But we also have blessings to give. In fact, the opportunity to give our blessings may be the greatest blessing of all.

By bestowing our good wishes, encouraging, empowering others, we bless. And when we do, they return a thousand-fold. Bless and be blessed

NEVER GIVE UP ON A DREAM!

“Never give up on a dream.”

Patience and persistence make dreams come true.

It’s easy to get frustrated and impatient while working hard to achieve dreams that still seem far away. When you get that inkling to give up, remember this old saying.

“Winners never quit and quitters never win!”

The positive energy you create paves the way for your dreams to come true. Just when you think you’ve exhausted all possibilities, you’ll find another way, a better way – and, more importantly, another day to live your dreams.
