Jesus Is The Lighthouse

There is a lighthouse on the hillside
And it over looks the sea
When I’m lost don’t you know
It sends out a light .

And the light that shines in darkness
Will someday take me safely home
I know if it wasn’t for the that old lighthouse
I know my ship would sail no more

Everyone that lives around us
Well they say the big ship why they
Don’t sail by this way anymore

Then my mind gives way out back
To that old stormy night
Don’t you know I saw the light
That old lighthouse
It still stands on the hill

And I thank God for that old lighthouse
I owe my life to him
For Jesus is the lighthouse

And from the rock of sin
He has shown his light around me
That I could clearly see
If it wasn’t for the lighthouse ( tell me )
Where would this ship be .
