EASTER STORY~A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said,
"Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like."
The Lord led the holy man to two doors.
He opened one of the doors and the Holy man looked in.
In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot Of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.
The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.
The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.
The Lord said, "You have seen Hell."
They went to the next room and opened the door.
It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.
The holy Man said, "I don't understand."
"It is simple," said the Lord. "It requires but one skill. You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves."
"Remember this, when Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of you."

Todays Color

The color gold is associated with worldly achievements, wealth and enlightenment. It is a masculine energy and is linked to the power of the Sun. Gold is a positive color, enhancing optimism, creating warm feelings within ourselves; a real confidence booster. It is also strongly associated with good health, power, riches, and friendship.

This is a glossy version of yellow and carries many of the same attributes. It is a warm color that can be shiny, glistening and happy as well as dull, muted and traditional. Brighter shades of gold catch the eye with their brilliance and are associated with happiness; darker muted shades are considered more traditional and warm.

Gold is playful leading to cheerfulness and happiness; it brightens everything around it. The color gold can help attract success, generosity, and create a higher intellect. Gold’s illuminating properties can enhance enlightenment, inspire knowledge and the desire to attain a deeper understanding of oneself and their spirituality. Used in a balanced manner, gold can help one be more loving and spiritual.

Gold amplifies richness and warmth to everything it is associated with as it illuminates and enhances things found around it. As it inspires higher ideals, gold is thought to inspire a sharing of wisdom with others. It is considered the color of a winner as first place trophies and medals are gold.

Gold colored crystals, such as heliodor, golden beryl, or cat’s eye, can enhance relationships, promote tolerance and harmony, promote charisma and aid one in keeping a clear head especially pertaining to negotiations and demanding careers.
