"Every day shelters across the world see animals arrive with different stories but the same need: compassion and care. I'm James, and I support our shelter because I've seen firsthand how they transform lives—both animal and human. Last year, we found homes for over 500 cats and dogs, provided emergency medical care to 200 injured animals, and reunited 150 lost pets with their worried families.
But this work isn't possible without your support. Your donation directly impacts our ability to continue this mission. Just $25 feeds a shelter animal for a week $50 provides vaccinations, and $100 funds a spay/neuter surgery to prevent future homelessness.
I became involved after adopting my own rescue dog, and seeing his transformation from a frightened stray to a loving companion showed me the incredible difference our shelter makes.     In Brazil there is also a lot of mistreatment.
    I adopted a female weighing 0.900g in 08 p.p.
    They told me she was two months old.
    I didn't believe it, because she is very small.
    They confirmed that she is really two months old.
    I started her with deworming and so on.
    I took her to the vet and I have already spent a good amount.
    What I mean is that there are few people who are responsible for adopting.
