Letting go of sorrow

If I allow bitterness and resentment to fester inside, it will make my relationships guarded and unsatisfying. The more I close down to others, the more I become a stranger to myself. By letting go of sorrow and negativity, I can keep my nature open and loving.

Remaining open to life, with its constant adventures and opportunities to grow, is the only way to reach my full potential.

 

 HEART TOUCHING MESSAGE FOR ALL

 Inspirational story...A Date with Mom...A son took his old mother to a restaurant for an evening dinner.

Mother being very old and weak, while eating, dropped food on her skirt.
Others diners watched her in disgust while her son was calm.

After she finished eating, her son who was not at all embarrassed, quietly took her to the wash room, wiped the food particles, removed the stains, combed her hair and fitted her spectacles firmly. When they came out, the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silence, not able to grasp how someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that.

The son settled the bill and started walking out with his mother.

At that time, an old man amongst the diners
called out to the son and asked him, “Don’t you think you have left something behind?”.

The son replied, “No sir, I haven’t”.

The old man retorted, “Yes, you have! You left a lesson for every son and hope for every mother”.

The restaurant went silent.

A wish of every mom.

You’ll never live up to the standards of what “everyone” wants you to be, so why fight a battle you can never win. Instead focus on being MORE of who you’re meant to be and focus less on what THEY think you should be. You might not see your own beauty but if you continue to conceal and hide who you are, the heart that’s for you won’t be able to find it either. ― Trent Shelton..... Enjoy your day... Enjoy Everything You Do Most of our time goes into pleasing others and making them happy. Often despite our best efforts we find that people do not appreciate what we have done. When we have tried hard to please someone we feel disheartened and upset. Whatever I do is for myself. When I recognise this fact, I will never do anything just to please others. When I am content with the effort I put in, I will never be dependent on others' recognition of what I have done. When I enjoy everything I do, I will be truly happy. The more content I am, the more others will start appreciating my effort.

Do not let one more day go by without honoring

the vocation your soul calls you to pursue.

And don't pretend you don't know what it is. Of course you do.

You can feel it in your stomach whenever you think about it;

whenever you see another person doing it.

 

Life is so very short. Do now what you yearn to do

in your life. You do not have to "quit your day job"

in order to do this. You may do so if you choose to,

but you do not have to. Many people advance

a vocation while holding down their "regular job."

You can, too. Then ease into your vocation

and turn it into your "regular job."

But you must give energy to your vocation
