Jerry Lee Lewis (September 29, 1935 – October 28, 2022) was an American singer, songwriter and pianist. Nicknamed "the Killer", he was described as "rock & roll's first great wild man". A pioneer of rock and roll and rockabilly music, Lewis made his first recordings in 1952 at Cosimo Matassa's J&M Studio in New Orleans, Louisiana, and early recordings in 1956 at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee. "Crazy Arms" sold 300,000 copies in the South, and his 1957 hit "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" shot Lewis to fame worldwide. He followed this with the major hits "Great Balls of Fire", "Breathless", and "High School Confidential". Lewis died at his home in Nesbit, Mississippi, following a bout of pneumonia, at the age of 87. R.I.P.

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Alley appeared in various films, including Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982), Summer School (1987), Shoot to Kill (1988), Look Who's Talking (1989) and its two sequels (1990–1993), Madhouse (1990), Sibling Rivalry (1990), Village of the Damned (1995), It Takes Two (1995), Deconstructing Harry (1997), For Richer or Poorer (1997), and Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999).
She won her second Emmy Award in 1994 for the television film David's Mother. In 1997, Alley received another Emmy nomination for her work in the crime drama series The Last Don. In 2005, she played a fictionalized version of herself on Showtime's Fat Actress. In 2013, Alley returned to acting with the title role on the sitcom Kirstie. In 2016, she appeared on the Fox comedy horror series Scream Queens.
She also appeared in reality television including Kirstie Alley's Big Life (2010), where she finished in second place. She also served as a contestant on the 12th season of Dancing with the Stars (2011–2012), and the 22nd series of the British reality show Celebrity Big Brother (2018), in which she finished as runner-up. In 2022, she appeared on The Masked Singer. Alley died on December 5, 2022, following a short battle with cancer at the age of 71. R.I.P.

Presley also released non-album singles, including duets with her father using tracks he had released before he died.
Presley was married to musician Danny Keough, singer Michael Jackson, actor Nicolas Cage, and music producer Michael Lockwood.
On January 12, 2023, Presley underwent cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California. Her heart was restarted after cardiopulmonary resuscitation was administered en route to a hospital,[92] but she died later that day at the age of 54. News of her death was released by her mother, Priscilla Presley. Her last public appearance had been two days before at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, which she attended with her mother. R.I.P.
